The Prime Minister of Georgia- Irakli Garibashvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs- Vakhtang Gomelauri, and the general director of the construction company “Anagi” in charge of implementing the project - Irakli Gogolishvili placed a symbolic capsule in the foundation of one of the buildings of the “Police City”.

Minister of Internal Affairs talked about the importance of the project and thanked the Prime Minister for the initiative.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Prime Minister. The project is being implemented under his initiative. We thanked him and told him how delighted we are. As Mr. Prime Minister has already announced, 1000 apartments will be handed over to our policemen.

The project will be completed in about two years. It is very important for all of us and most importantly, you’ve also heard that it is not a single project, it will continue and in the future, apartments will be given to our police officers within the frames of another project as well. I would like to express my appreciation to the government and the Prime Minister for their support”, - said Vakhtang Gomelauri.
