The city of Kahramanmaras, located in the southeast of Turkey, covered a powerful storm. One person died, at least 34 more people were injured.
According to the local media, 8 victims are in hospitals in serious condition. As noted, a strong wind knocked down about 170 tents. They were inhabited by people who suffered from large-scale devastating earthquakes that covered Turkey in early February 2023.
The province of Kahramanmarash suffered the most during the earthquakes on February 6. There was the epicenter of the second powerful earthquake of magnitude over 7 that rocked Turkey that day. The city was practically destroyed.
