A memorandum of friendship was signed between Rustavi and the Armenian city of Ijevan

The government delegation of the Republic of Armenia visited Rustavi in ​​Georgia as part of an official visit.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ilia Begiashvili, the State Trustee in Kvemo Kartli Giorgi Dokhturishvili, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Gnel Sanosian, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ashot Smbatian, Consul Levon Zargarian, the Deputy Minister Christine Galechiani, the faction of Rustavi City Council, Members of Georgian Dream and other officials attended.

At the meeting, Nino Latsabidze introduced the guests to the ongoing projects in Rustavi and the investment potential of the city.

Within the framework of the visit, the mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze, and the mayor of Ijevan, Artur Chagharian, signed a memorandum of friendship between the two cities.

The memorandum aims to share the existing experience in terms of municipal management between the two cities and envisages mutual cooperation in the fields of urban development, culture, tourism, investments and solid waste management.
