There is nothing about the financing of the political opposition, which David Kezerashvili spoke about publicly yesterday, in the declarations of the opposition parties, so the opposition parties are obliged to publicly respond to the statements made by Kezerashvili through the media. “He practically said that he finances the opposition, while the opposition parties have not declared it. This is a very disturbing statement and violates the rules established by the law on party financing and activities. As for his other statements, he told the public that he became a billionaire legally, whereas he stole money from the defense budget, illegally finances political parties and the media.

The origin of his money and finances is unclear, the court has said that the budget robbery took place. He lied to public once again, saying that he got rich through transparent business and that today he has noble interests to finance the radical opposition. Who will believe this?! This is a lie. Everything is clear and now it"s time to hear explanations from the opposition parties about what he talked about”, - said Archil Talakvadze.
