Georgian Prime Minister met with President of the Republic of Turkey. Irakli Garibashvili personally extended his sympathy to Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the victims of the recent earthquake. As the Head of the Government pointed out, Georgia is standing by the friendly people of Turkey, ready to provide any assistance necessary.

The participation of Georgian rescuers in efforts toward the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake and in rescue operations, and the humanitarian assistance provided by Georgia, were emphasizes at the meeting in Ankara.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Irakli Garibashvili for rapid assistance provided at this difficult time.

Prime Minister wished strength to the Turkish people and a speedy recovery to those injured.
