The European Investment Bank is looking at effective cooperation with Georgia - Werner Hoyer

The President of the European Investment Bank Group said today [February 20] that he was looking at an “effective cooperation” with the Government of Georgia.

“Over the last weekend at Munich Security Conference I had very fruitful meetings with the leaders of the three countries of the South Caucasus and discussed how we can scale up EU support through EIB Global

The European Investment Bank is looking at effective cooperation with Georgia. I discussed with the Georgian Prime Minister cooperation in connectivity, digital, renewables, and private sector development”, - tweeted Werner Hoyer.

The social media post came following the EIB representative’s meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Saturday, where they discussed current projects of the Bank in Georgia and prospects of deepening the cooperation.
