From April 1, the third stage of the taxi reform will begin to take effect. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.
“There are a number of components within the transport reform process. One of them is the development of taxis. We have been reforming taxis since 2018. In 2019, we implemented the second stage of this reform. This year, from April 1, the third stage of the taxi reform will begin to take effect.
We have already developed changes in this direction. Tomorrow, I intend to present our vision to the public in detail. I would like to ask all interested parties to carefully read this information.
Starting tomorrow, we will conduct a fairly active information campaign within a month and a half. We will distribute information brochures to taxi drivers.
In addition, the staff of all 11 service centres of the mayor’s office and the hotline operators have been trained and are ready to help and provide detailed information to any interested person”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
