Teona Akubardia, Ana Buchukuri and Khatuna Samnidze, three MPs from opposition, use the interpellation rule to summon Prime Minister of Georgia to the Parliament to answer questions about national defence policy, security risks assessment, and the national security concept.

As they said, Georgia has so far failed to update “these fundamentally conceptual documents” under the legislation’s set terms and NATO commitments.

The MPs say the National Security Council does not meet regularly, which is under the Prime Minister’s direct responsibility, to discuss ongoing primary issues.
