The Parliamentary Majority Leader, Irakli Kobakhidze held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Burić.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Delegation, Irakli Chikovani and the Ambassador of Georgia to CoE, Tamar Taliashvili.

Burić thanked the Georgian Delegation for active collaboration. The parties touched upon the significance of the CoE support to Georgia. She underlined the immense progress achieved by Georgia in reforming and noted that the CoE strongly supports Georgia in the fulfillment of the 12-point recommendations.

The political situation in the region was as well discussed at the meeting.
