According to the information of Kurieri, Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri arrived in Sagarejo.

A special operation is currently underway in Sagarejo, Khaketi Region, following a shooting incident early January 20. Reports indicate that a gunman barricaded in an apartment opposite a medical facility, fired into the hospital yard, killing at least 6 people and injuring around 10 others.
