Frost and precipitation caused problems in terms of transportation in some settlements of the capital. The relevant statement was released by the Tbilisi City Hall.

“The priority is to clean the central streets and avenues so that the municipal transport can move smoothly. As for other streets, Tbilservice Group actively cooperates with the patrol police and the transport company.

Road salt is intensively spread and roads get cleaned, both in the city streets and as well as in the surrounding areas.

We appeal to the population, if your vehicle does not have winter tires, refrain from driving. In case of having problems, the hotline of Tbilservice Group and Tbilisi City Hall is active – 2 61 90 50, 2 72 22 22”, - reads the statement.

About 200 employees and 30 special equipment are involved in road cleaning works.
