The Ministry of Interior Affairs launched an investigation on alleged murders in the village of Etseri, Mestia municipality.

2 people were reportedly killed and 1 injured following a dispute. As it known, one of the killed is an employee of the border police.

According to the agency, investigators were considering qualifying the incident as intentional killing under aggravating circumstances.

Police officers were present in the locality for conducting “active investigative actions”. The investigation is being conducted under Article 109 of the Criminal Code.
