Ahead of the European Political Community Summit, President of the European Parliament, emphasized the importance of discussing common approaches to security, defense and geopolitical issues with EU member states and neighbouring countries.

“I think we should move away from Europe elects and we react, but rather, what are we going to do when we say that we stand on our own two feet? What does that mean, when we worked together? What does that mean, when we discuss strategic autonomy?

That means we are together and this is a perfect moment together with our neighbourhoods, besides the EU member states, to discuss a common approach on security, defense, on Ukraine, on how we react to elections that took place in Moldova, in Georgia as we go forward”, - said Roberta Metsola.
