Within the framework of investigation started in the Prosecutor’s Office, all those persons who have information regarding the possible fraud of the elections will be interviewed or interrogated. Such a statement made today Prosecutor of the case, Ketevan Chachava.

“The General Prosecutor’s Office has started an investigation regarding the possible falsification of the parliamentary elections. Various opinions related to election fraud and violations were spread on the mentioned case through media, both from the political party representatives and from the non-governmental organizations.

As part of the investigation, all those persons who possess information related to election fraud will be interviewed or interrogated in the investigative body. We ask them to provide concrete evidence. Investigative actions will be planned, an objective, complete and transparent investigation will be conducted.

As for the witness questioned at today’s court session, based on the information disseminated by the observation mission “My Voice”, Londa Toloraia was summoned to the Magistrate Judge, although the testimony of the witness was mainly based on the briefings issued by them and the circumstances indicated in the complaints, no specific details were given. Various evidences were not presented at the session, although these evidences will be requested from the relevant authorities. Certainly, all necessary investigative actions will be carried out in order to establish the objective truth in the case”, - said Ketevan Chachava.
