I want to express my special thanks to the law enforcers, 3,111 districts were created across the country, of which there was complete peace in more than 3,100 districts - Kobakhidze

The Prime Minister of Georgia extended special thanks to law enforcement agencies, noting that out of the 3111 polling stations set up nationwide, over 3100 operated in complete peace.

“Special thanks to Vakhtang Gomelauri. The election was held in an unprecedentedly calm environment in our country and Election Day itself was peaceful by nature. Across the country, a total of 3111 polling stations were established and over 3100 of them experienced complete calm, with only a few witnessing coordinated provocations.

However, even in these cases, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and law enforcement agencies acted to ensure that the elections were conducted in a substantially peaceful environment, including on Election Day. I would also like to thank the State Security Service and the Special State Protection Service. Of course, their role was also very important. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone for their contributions to the proper conduct of the elections”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
