Opposition in occupied Sokhumi holding a rally against the de-facto Government. The “national meeting” of the Abkhazian opposition is taking place in the square near the drama theater in Sukhumi.

Participants are against the “Law on Apartments, Settlement in Abkhazia, Distribution of Abkhaz land and increase in electricity tariffs”.

Protesters are holding banners with slogans “Abkhazia is not for sale” and “Energy is the property of the nation”. Unprecedented security measures have been taken around the “Government” buildings, local “law enforcers” are mobilized on the spot.
