Parliamentary Secretary of the President responds to the statement of the political council of Georgian Dream. As Giorgi Mskhiladze said, the ruling team is trying to limit the rights of the President.

“The statement of Georgian Dream that their goal is to protect the institution of the President, is one thing in words and completely different in action.

A clear example of this was May 26, which should be unifying for everyone, but the President was insulted, which was completely unacceptable. I cannot understand what they mean by protecting the institution of the President, because they are doing something else.

Georgian Dream perceives the President’s criticism as very painful. If the criticism of the President is unfair, then they must have some arguments. If the criticism of the President is fair, it should be accepted as normal and they should not act like they did on May 26.
