Georgian Dream congratulates Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his well-deserved victory in the presidential elections and People"s Alliance on gaining a parliamentary majority, reads the statement released by Georgian Dream.

As stated in the party"s congratulatory letter, Turkey has made impressive progress in recent years, and this, in turn, was confirmed by the election results.

"We wish peace, stability and prosperity to the strategic partner and friendly people of Georgia, for the progress of both Turkey and the region.

We believe that in the next stage of the administration of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the partnership between the two friendly countries in various directions, in the light of the challenges in the region, will be further deepened and strengthened," the statement reads.
