The Ministry of Internal Affairs will host citizens in Batumi within the framework of the solemn event related to the Independence Day of Georgia.
Information and exhibition stands will be presented by various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the event organized by the government administration of Georgia, which will start tomorrow at 14:00 close to Alphabet Tower. Special technic, equipment and border police helicopter of the Patrol Police Department, Border Police and Emergency Management Service will be presented at the event.
Within the framework of the event, a number of thematic informative and cognitive activities for children are planned to be held as well as entertainment spaces provided for them, such as:
Patrol Police Department will present the concept of “Smart City” regarding traffic rules in the city. Employees of the department will assist guests to perform various fun activities;
Public Safety Management Center – “112” will offer teenagers to participate in games specially created for them, during which they will learn how to act in emergency situations. At the “Call of Life” stand, citizens who came to the event will have the opportunity to listen to real calls received by Public Safety Command Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “112”.
The Forensic-Criminalistics Department will arrange a mock case room, where the children will have to find the evidences and, together with their mentors, will be able to extract them and seal it properly;
The service agency will host small visitors in a simulated city and offer them to take a fun theoretical and practical test to receive a bicycle license. An information corner will be organized where agency employees will provide information about online services to guests.
Emergency Situations Management Service will present an informational and cognitive show with the participation of firefighters, as well as an “obstacle course”, a wall climbing event and various entertainment activities will be organized for children;
The border police will be represented with both coastal and land special equipment and technic;
The security police will set up a mock safe house for the little guests and offer them various cognitive activities, including fun drawing and sculpting lessons. With the help of mentors, the children will wear security police equipment and perform the function of a policeman;
Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will offer guests a simulated theoretical exam, in case of successful passing of which they will move to the space intended for the virtual shooting range;
At 5:10 p.m., exactly at the time when Noe Zhordania announced Georgia’s independence in 1918, the Georgian anthem will be performed.
The event will end with an evening concert.
