I express my support to the parents of children with achondroplasia, we will do our best, but please do not take part in the political campaign. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia, while commenting the protest rallies in front of the Government Administration.
“First of all, I would like to express our full support to the parents of children with achondroplasia.
I want to tell them that we, the Government, the state stand by them and will do everything necessary. But I would like to ask them not to take part in this political campaign willingly or unwillingly.
We understand very well, and I want to remind everyone that no one, no politician involved in this campaign, remembered the fate of these kids neither when they were in power, nor when they are in opposition.
Of course, it can be explained very easily. They try to use every misfortune in order to achieve their own political interests. It is an immoral act, it is the most immoral act that a person can do.
We see, how they are trying to achieve certain political dividends and goals with the involvement of people with this rare genetic disease”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
