Ukrainian President stated that there was a meeting of the Military Cabinet, a special working format, with the heads of the Defense field, the commanders, the intelligence services and the Presidential Chancellery.

“Our actions will be strong. We are preparing the boys. And we can hardly wait for the arms deliveries promised by our partners. We bring victory as close as possible. And we ensure the spirit of unity to the maximum. Efficiency – to the maximum. Preparation – also to the max”, - he added.

Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned that the Day of Defense Industry Employees was celebrated for the first time at the Mariinsky Palace.

“It is quite unfair that so far there has not been such a special day in Ukraine to honor the work of all those who create Ukrainian weapons, Ukrainian projectiles and Ukrainian equipment. Those who also create our missiles, which showed themselves so clearly in the waters of the Black Sea a year ago, on April 13, when the sea route of the flagship of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea stopped. These are the people who create our weapons – 155 millimeters, which are currently on the battlefield and about which we have only positive feedback from our soldiers and … it is clear what is the “feedback” of the occupiers.

Our entire state, the entire society has a lot to be grateful for to those professionals who protect and develop the defense industry complex”, - added the President.
