“In US, 4 people who broke into the Congress building were killed on the spot. Is it a norm for us to let anarchists into the Parliament building? Is it a norm that they opened fire on the police with “Molotov cocktails”? And do you think the police should not have responded? Do you think we should not arrest anyone, we should not punish anyone and allow these anarchists, sowers of chaos, enemies of the country, to bring chaos to the country? Of course, we won’t do that!

A few days ago, the police arrested the person who had attacked the police. Everyone saw the footage, how one of the anarchists threw a “Molotov cocktail” at the police, that is, this person intended to burn the policeman alive. I came out and expressed my position that we would not forgive anyone for this. This is an unacceptable red line where we will be uncompromising.

The public saw that the plan was much more complicated. Their plan was to sow permanent chaos, of course, their ultimate goal was to destabilize our country, to change the Government by violent means, which, of course, did not work and will not work for anyone.

As for the anarchists and their instructors - I want to remind everyone that these people were prepared for provocations, attacks on the police, and of course, all this is visible. People saw once again that the purpose of this was much more far-reaching. Thanks to the police, the State stood very firmly, showed both strength and intelligence.

I want to say once again that if anyone opposes prosperity today, it is the degraded extremist opposition. They do not want high economic growth, peace, stability in the country. They do everything to sacrifice the security of their country and people to their interests. I want to tell everyone clearly that today the Government is the strongest. We have maintained peace, stability, high economic growth and no one can oppose us on this path”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
