Kakha Tsertsvadze, the Head of the National Forestry Agency, get familiarized with arranging the “business yard” in Ozurgeti municipality.

“As of today, in the Guria region, “business yards” are functioning in the municipalities of Chokhatauri and Ozurgeti. By the end of the year, we plan to arrange two “business yards” in Lanchkhuti and one in Chokhatauri municipalities. It is important for us that the local population has easy access to all the services that the Forestry Agency offers. The operation of “business yards” is to facilitate access to wood resources for the population and the private sector. Social felling will gradually be replaced by the comfortable services of the Forestry Agency so that firewood becomes easily accessible to the population”, - said the Head of the National Forestry Agency, Kakha Tsertsvadze.

At the initiative of the National Forestry Agency, 39 “business yards” are operating in almost all regions, which ensures the simplification of all information and services related to the forest. By the end of 2023, an additional 17 “business yards” will be organized throughout the country.
