Reconstruction of Ukraine will require spending USD 411 billion over 10 years. This is the assessment formulated by the World Bank in a report published yesterday, according to which the removal of the rubble caused by the conflict alone will entail a cost of USD 5 billion.

The report lists a number of estimates related to the damage caused by the invasion of Russia: at least 9.655 civilian casualties, including 461 minors; nearly 2 million homes and a fifth of the country’s health facilities damaged; 650 ambulances damaged or looted.

Direct damage to buildings and infrastructure alone amounted to USD 135 billion, according to the report.
