Poland plans to publish documents on the influence of Russian special services that corrupted MEPs. This was stated by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Gordon.
“Today we know that Russian traces have appeared in the corruption of MEPs. Our Interior Minister will soon make public documents on the influence of Russian services that corrupted MEPs”, Morawiecki said.
When asked whether the information concerned Polish MEPs, the prime minister clarified that the information concerned several MEPs, “but not from Poland”.
Morawiecki noted that many people unknowingly become the mouthpiece of Russian propaganda. The minister recalled Belarus’ attempts to attack the Polish border with streams of illegal migrants, whose attempts to enter Poland were severely suppressed.
“It was an attempt to undermine the integrity of the European Union, as well as an attempt to destabilize Poland so that when Russia attacked Ukraine, we could no longer accept Ukrainian refugees. This attempt failed, but unfortunately, there are still journalists and political activists on the side of the opposition who do not understand this”, - said Morawiecki.
