In Rustavi, in Chkondideli settlement, adjacent to Rcheulishvili Street, a recreational space is being built on an area of 15 thousand square meters.
The project is implemented within the framework of the green city concept and provides for the creation of a multifunctional recreation area. The mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze, along with his deputy Besik Togonidze, the members of the Georgian Dream fraction of the city council and the infrastructure service, got acquainted with the progress of the works.
In the new square, sports and children’s playgrounds, paved footpaths, modern outdoor lighting, irrigation system, green spaces, recreation areas, as well as a staircase from Rcheulishvili Street through the square to Graneli Street are being built.
A dendrological project will be implemented, within the framework of which various types of trees and plants will be planted in the territory.
The project will be implemented with the co-financing of the central and local budgets.
