According to the National Environment Agency, the level of avalanche danger on the Gudauri - Kobi section of the Mtskheta – Stepantsminda - Larsi international road is high, due to which the movement of all types of vehicles is prohibited on this section.

The Roads Department urges the population to drive with appropriate tires for the winter period, with proper transport and to obey the regimes imposed on the roads.
