Official ceremony of welcoming Viktor Orbán in underway in the Government Administration. The ceremony featured the performance of both Hungarian and Georgian national anthems.

After the welcome ceremony, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán are scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting, followed by expanded format discussions. The leaders will make joint statements to the media.

The Hungarian Prime Minister, representing the current EU Council Presidency, arrived with a high-level governmental delegation including Peter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Márton Nagy, Minister of Economic Development; Mihály Varga, Minister of Finance; János Máté, State Secretary.
