COVID-19 cases exceed 32 million globally

The number of registered coronavirus infections exceeded 32 million worldwide, according to data collected from health authorities worldwide.


The United States remained the world’s most affected country with over 7 million confirmed COVID-19 cases, followed by India with more than 5.7 million infections and Brazil that recorded over 4.6 million cases. In Europe, Spain, France, Russia, and the United Kingdom reported a steady increase in the daily number of cases in the last several days.


Meanwhile, the death toll from the virus stood at 979,291 globally with the US having over 200,000 coronavirus-caused fatalities since the beginning of the outbreak.
