56% of the respondents are confident that the parliamentary elections will be conducted in a free and fair environment, however, concerns remain, as approximately a third of Georgians (30%) report that bribing of voters presents the biggest challenge to the integrity of elections, reads the poll of the National Democratic Institute (NDI).

 

The survey was conducted by NDI from August 6-11. According to the organization, 2,045 telephone interviews were conducted throughout the country based on a representative sample. The average margin of error of the survey is +/- 1.3%.


The survey was fielded by the Caucasus Resource Research Centers (CRRC) for NDI, with the financial assistance of the UK Aid.
