Police seize about 2 kg of drugs in Kvemo Kartli, one person arrested

Officers of Marneuli Regional Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one person (DoB – 1964), on the territory of Tetritskaro Municipality, on charge of illegal buying and keeping of drugs in large quantities.

The drugs containing heroin weighing about 2 kg were confiscated upon the search of the arrested person’s house.

The MIA already launched an investigation into the case. The arrested person faces from 8 to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
