Tymoshenko who tested positive for coronavirus in serious condition

Leader of the Batkivshchyna Party, Ukrainian MP Yulia Tymoshenko, who tested positive for coronavirus, is in a serious condition. The politician is on a ventilator, the RBC Ukraine reports with reference to its own sources.

Tymoshenko’s temperature does not drop below 39, it said. Her daughter Eugenia, as well as son-in-law Arthur Chechetkin, who also contracted the coronavirus, have mild cases.

On August 23, Tymoshenko’s press secretary said the leader of the Batkivshchyna Party had tested positive for COVID-19.
