As a result of heavy rains and the overflowing river Laskadura, four villages in Lentekhi Municipality were cut off from the outside world.

As the Lentekhi Mayor Badri Liparteliani said, several bridges were taken away and the dams were damaged. He added that the population has not been affected so far, however, if the rain continues, the inhabitants will be in danger.
