The Prime Minister of Georgia visited the hotel Tsibena in Ambrolauri, which is a beneficiary of the state program Produce in Georgia.


In addition to leisure, entertainment, and conference facilities, the hotel, which can accommodate 50 people, also offers its guests tourist equipment, which the owner purchased with funding received within the framework of the Produce in Georgia program. The volume of co-financing stands at 4,600 GEL. Guests staying at the hotel have the opportunity to make use of bicycles, tents, and a boat.


Merab Janelidze, the founder of the hotel, provided Giorgi Gakhaaria and members of the government with information concerning the services offered by the hotel to its guests, noting that this year, foreign travelers have been replaced by domestic tourists due to the pandemic. The owner of the hotel noted that he has already purchased an additional plot of land in order to expand the hotel and construct additional infrastructure.


The Head of the Government provided them with information concerning The State - Your Partner, a new program that enables entrepreneurs and farmers to receive detailed information and services envisaged by the state programs that aim to stimulate entrepreneurship and the development of farming enterprises, and to do so from a single location. The Prime Minister wished the hotel owners success and urged them to make the most of the state support programs and to expand their business in order to host as many tourists as possible.


Giorgi Gakharia visited the hotel in Ambrolauri together with Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, and Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili.
