Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Roman Golovchenko Prime Minister of Belarus.

Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed another decree to appoint other members of the government. Among those on the list to remain in place was Interior Minister Yuri Karayev, whose responsibilities include policing and public security.

The candidates must be approved by the lower chamber of the Belarusian parliament.
