Friends gathered at the grave of Gia Chanturia, former chairman of the National Democratic Party. Late Georgian politician would have turned 61 today, on August 19.

Priests held a service for his soul in Kashueti Church. Gia Chanturia’s family members and friends gathered in the temple.

Chanturia was shot dead in a car near his house on December 3, 1994.
