The opposition parties of Georgia adopted a declaration on the elections at a meeting held in the office of the Labor Party.

“The Ivanishvili regime has mobilized large part of both administrative and financial resources. The state institutions serve the interests of the ruling team instead of the public. That is why the coordinated work of the democratic opposition is important to protect each vote and eliminate electoral manipulation.

We will have coordination in all constituencies, including where we have nominated competing candidates. The task of the parties will not be to protect the votes of citizens with certain political tastes, but to protect the transparency of the entire electoral process and the choice of each citizen.

To achieve this task, we intend to develop specific cooperation mechanisms.

By defeating Ivanishvili in the 2020 parliamentary elections, the harmful tradition of electoral manipulation will be over in Georgia”, - reads the document.
