The President of Georgia commented on the recent developments in Belarus.

“Georgia respects European values and is committed to the democratic principles that are the basis of development, progress and return to European family of the two friend countries.

We hope that the ongoing process will be completed so that it does not damage or impede democratic and European future of Belarus. We are far from violence. We believe that Belarus and its people will decide their future democratically”, - said Salome Zourabichvili.
