Leri Sulaberidze case - one person detained in Tbilisi

Police detained I.Gh. (DoB 1980) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase-keeping and carrying of firearm and ammunition. Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on July 28, 2020 detainee made several shots from the car to the direction of another vehicle operated by L.S. (DoB 1968). As a result of the incident no one has been injured.

Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

In order to obtain additional evidences regarding the case, complex operative-investigative activities are being held at the moment.

Investigation is in progress under the article 236, III and IV parts envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
