As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained head of one of the companies, working on implementation of infrastructure project, on the fact of misappropriation of the state property by making and using forged documents.

Investigation revealed that the accused person, by the order of Kakheti municipality has conducted rehabilitation work of the roof of the kindergarten, during which, artificially increased the volume of performed work in the official documentation, for the purpose of obtaining unlawful material benefits. Therefore, conducted the misappropriation of the state property - in the amount of GEL 7 303.

During the investigation damage was fully reimbursed by the accused.

The investigation is underway under the first part of Article 362 and second part of Article 180 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
