Russia will try to use activities in Georgia for destabilization. Such a statement made today the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia.

Kelly Degnan talked about this issue after the meeting with the Public Defender of Georgia. She added that the United States was helping Georgian population to distinguish incorrect information and misinformation from reality.

“Russia somewhat established the scheme for interference and Georgia is a target. Generally, the environment was polarized in Georgia and Russia would attempt to use its activities for destabilization. However, Georgian public is well aware of these risks”, - added the Ambassador.
