Mikheil Kalandia, convicted of the premeditated murder of Davit Saralidze, was also found guilty by the Tbilisi Court of Appeals and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Under the Juvenile Justice Code, the term was reduced by one-third and Kalandia is eventually sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in prison.

The decision was announced by the Chamber of Judges. Thus the decision of the Tbilisi City Court was upheld.
