Activities beyond the tourism sector are clearly increasing. Such a statement made during today’s Government sitting the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“Effective management of pandemics, the spread of the virus, is the only way to stabilize the economy for a quick recovery.

Today it is clear that we must prepare the government and ministries for this stabilization. Some positive signs have already appeared in our economy and activities beyond the tourism sector are clearly increasing. As well as in the financial sector the indicators are quite positive in terms of tax revenues.

The country together with its citizens has been effectively managing the virus which is the key to further rapid economic recovery.

Today the Government is fighting on two fronts – the health of citizens and the effective management of the virus spread is the only and foremost condition for a rapid recovery of the economy”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
