EU Ambassador to Georgia welcomes the decision of the Council of the European Union with regards to including Georgia in the list of 15 countries to which the EU will be reopening its borders.

“Naming Georgia among 15 safe countries is congratulatory, and represents recognition of the vast work carried out by Georgia during the last several months in struggle and against COVID-19.

This is a real asset for Georgia, which it must rely on, but at the same time, it is clear that we demand from all sides to continue to work tirelessly. We will work tirelessly with the ministry and various ministries to ensure the full realisation of this potential”, - said Carl Hartzell after the meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Vakhtang Makharoblishvili.
