The Parliament starts working on the Electoral Code after adopting the constitutional changes yesterday. The amendments will be introduced for accelerated consideration.

The first discussion will be held today at the Legal Issues Committee. The parliamentary opposition is also going to attend the sitting.

United National Movement and European Georgia factions have their recommendation about the Electoral Code amendments. Despite the participation, the opposition deputies won’t take part in the vote and will remain in the boycott regime until Giorgi Ruru is released.
