The German Prosecutor’s office calls the Georgian Government “pro-Russian” – German Ambassador says the phraise belongs to Zelimkhan Khangoshvili

The words “Georgia’s pro-Russian Government” mentioned in the German Prosecutor’s office statement belong to Zelimkhan Khangoshvili. This phrase could have been better formulated. Such a statement made today German Ambassador to Georgia Hubert Knirsch.

As the German Prosecutor’s office said: “Russia ordered the assassination of Zelimkhan Khangoshvili”. Prosecutor’s office has filed murder charges against a Russian national identified as Vadim K for killing a Georgian man in 2019.

Zelimkhan Khangoshvili was killed in Berlin last year, on 23 August. The Berlin Police arrested 48-year-old Russian citizen on suspicion of killing. The Kremlin has denied Russian government involvement in Zelimkhan Khangoshvili’s murder case.
