The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division and Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of joint operative-search and investigative activities detained M.KH. (DoB 1962) and M.G. (DoB 1980) in Tbilisi.

M.Kh. is accused of violence committed in group in vicinities of Tchavtchavadze Street N83, while M.G. is charged with causing severe health injury on purpose to two persons as well as illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of a firearm. Investigation established that M.KH. physically assaulted V.K. (DoB 1988), while M.G. inflicted severe heath injuries with a firearm to G.Ts. (DoB 1980) and I.P. (DoB 1994).

During the search activities held in M.G’s apartment, policemen seized weapons of crime- knife and pistol as evidence. Investigation against M.Kh. is in progress on the fact of violence committed in group, article 1261 sub-paragraph “B” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

Investigation against M.G. is in progress on the fact of causing severe health injury to two or more people and illegal purchase-keeping and carrying of a firearm, article 117, VII part, sub-paragraph “A” and article 236, III and IV parts envisaged by the criminal Code of Georgia.
