Kakheti is still a green zone - truck driver’s contacts test negative for COVID-19

Kakheti is still a green zone. The family and other contacts of a truck driver who contracted the virus in Russia tested negative for COVID-19.

According to Neli Khizanishvili, the Head of the Kakheti Department of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, despite the negative test results, truck driver’s contacts will undergo a two-week mandatory quarantine and then will be tested for the virus.

Currently, 114 people placed under quarantine in Kakheti.
