Three people suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds Sunday night in a shooting outside a liquor store at a 4th Ward street corner where one of the city’s most notorious drug gangs operates, according to law enforcement sources.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes said in a statement that when city police arrived at the scene around 10 p.m., officers found two victims, an 18-year-old Paterson man and a 15-year-old, who each sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.
While the victims were being transported to the hospital, officers were told a third victim, a 31-year-old Paterson woman, was being treated at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
