Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will hold a military parade to mark the 75th anniversary of victory in World War II in Moscow on June 24.
Putin had to postpone Victory Day celebrations, including a huge military parade across Red Square, this year. Because of the coronavirus, only an air parade was held on May 9.
“We will do it on June 24, the day the legendary victors’ parade took place in 1945”, - Putin told Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, ordering him to begin preparations for the event.
